SEP’s FREE customer training sessions are going down a storm in Stockport, with our latest visitors saying;
“I have had some extremely positive feedback from the lads; they really enjoyed it and gained a lot so thank you very much. I am just in the process of looking at the next group to send on 10th December…”
So, as well as an air compressor, pump initiation boards, Zone Guardian, Priority Demand Valves and an Alarm Valve Booster Pump, we now have a new addition in our demo and training room – a fully working premium Grundfos FireSAFE+!
This continues the SEP theme of our training sessions being hands on and engaging. All products in our demo room are fully working and functional, to show our customers and let them play to see how they react when getting hands on. We prefer this approach, as opposed to a staid PowerPoint slideshow…and in the unlikely event of anything getting broken…we can fix it anyway! With the Grundfos FireSAFE+ training we can show how the unit reacts to fire and potential fire triggers, low water alarms and even a live sprinkler head activation; we can show how to set up, how to read fault/warning codes, and how to extract and, of course, understand the log files.
There’s been a lot of interest in our demo room so far, with a wide range of customers attending our free half-day training room in recent months, with many more booked into mid-2025. We have received very positive feedback about our training being functional, hands on and ‘not just a sales pitch’, whilst also providing lots of real-world hints and tips on selection, installation, commissioning and fault-finding. We are constantly updating and adapting our training course based on our customers feedback, and commonly asked questions about issues encountered on site. In fact, we are now struggling to fit everything we have to say into a half-day session.
And therefore, to complement our offering further, we have invested in this unique Grundfos FireSAFE+ unit, with a simulated low water level alarm and flow switch. It also has a water tank contacted to the cooling line valve as well as a sprinkler head, so the full operation of the unit as well as fault finding and installation/commissioning can be explained and shown on a working, live demo unit. See how important and easy it is to set the pressure switches, download the log files, and understand what they mean and even more importantly, what to do about it.
If you are interested in booking onto our Grundfos FireSAFE+ training course or anything else, whether it be for our commercial range of products, the residential range (or both!), please email Rob or Cameron at info@sepfiresprinkler.co.uk.
Apart from Grundfos themselves, we are the only company with the equipment and the knowledge to offer such in-depth training and support to their premium domestic & residential booster sets, the FireSAFE+.
Don’t get left behind… we look forward to seeing you soon!
