As our customers will know, Quality is a key part of our Ethos here at SEP. We know from our ISO9001 system that complaints are rare, and we seek to keep it that way despite our continual growth.
Yes, of course problems happen occasionally, and they can be costly in terms of both time and resources – not only for our customers and their clients, but also for ourselves. So, you can be assured that we continually monitor our effectiveness and look for ways to improve the reliability and longevity of our products. It’s in our own interests to be your best supplier by any measure.
We will always try firstly to solve the problem over the phone or provide a replacement part for simple replacement, otherwise the warranty continues to be ‘return to base’. We will also always try and ascertain the root cause of any problem – we know this can be tricky, but it’s certainly worthwhile.
We are so confident in our products and systems that we feel our current 12 month warranty should be doubled to 24 months. All we ask in return is that our products are registered so that we know where they are and who is maintaining them.
We will shortly be launching a new web page where – for any SEP-manufactured product (Zone Guardian, air compressors, initiation boards, alarm valve booster pumps, flow test assemblies, resi risers) – you will be able to register with some minor details to enjoy a doubling of your warranty period.
By doing this we hope to give you and your clients that extra assurance and confidence that you are choosing the best product from the best source.
