Here at SEP, we supply a lot of pressure gauges – in fact, we can go further to say that barely a day goes by without us shipping one!
Competitive prices – no compromise on quality: because we buy so many gauges, we can offer competitive pricing, and the higher the quantity the better the price… but it’s not just about price, it’s also about quality and it’s also about service. We don’t believe that buying a pressure gauge should simply be a race to find the cheapest; accuracy is critical.
We certify many – in fact, we have tested and certified almost 500 in the past 12 months alone – and this gives us a great insight, enabling us to monitor quality on an ongoing basis and ensure that our gauges are meeting the EN837-1 standard, usually Class 1.6 (which means guaranteed accuracy with 1.6% of the gauge pressure range). Any gauges which we test, and which fail this standard, are rejected back to our supplier…. and we’re happy to say this is an extremely low number, so even without having to test every gauge, we know they are top quality.
And as regards service, it’s unlikely you want it next week – you want it tomorrow. As long as we get your order by early afternoon, it’ll almost certainly be with you tomorrow… remembering if we are testing and certifying any gauges for you, we’ll need about half an hour per gauge, as we only do this to order so that we can guarantee the results.
We’ve got a pretty comprehensive range on the shelf:
- In 100mm Class 1.6, we stock 4, 7, 11, 16, 25, 40 and 70 bar as well as suction gauges from -1 to 1, 3, and 4 bar;
- In 63mm Class 1.6, we stock 2, 4, 7 and 20 bar.
What else?
- No loss connectors suitable for all our gauges even up to 70 bar (you simply won’t get that anywhere else, and should always check, because there will be a good reason if they are a lot cheaper);
- Gauge cocks if you don’t like NLC;
- Individual gauge test certification as mentioned above;
- Protective ABS cases so that you can preserve your certified gauges as long as possible.

Well, gauges with a top connection are one thing that isn’t available BUT we came up with an acceptable solution which was simple but effective (and cost-effective).
