SEP offers the information in the below table in order to assist customers and clients responsibly manage ‘end-of-life’ disposal of our products; as products and specifications may change over time, it cannot be guaranteed to be comprehensive although it is reviewed and updated periodically.
Any product supplied by SEP may also be returned to our address for dismantling and responsible recycling/disposal through our normal waste disposal channels.

Metal – ferrous (e.g. steel, iron) – Highly recyclable; must be taken to, or collected by, authorised, licensed recyclers to prevent the waste of valuable materials.
Metal – non-ferrous (e.g. brass, aluminium, stainless) – Highly recyclable; must be taken to, or collected by, authorised, licensed recyclers to prevent the waste of valuable materials.
Hard plastics – Can be recycled in most cases; must be taken to, or collected by, authorised, licensed specialist recyclers
Cable/wire Must be recycled as electrical waste (WEEE) through authorised, licensed recyclers to prevent the waste of valuable materials.
PCBs (printed circuit boards) – Must be recycled as hazardous electrical waste (WEEE) through authorised, licensed recyclers to prevent environmental contamination.
Glycerine – A vegetable-based non-toxic product, can be washed down drain with hot water in small quantities, or disposed of with normal waste.
Oil – As a toxic product, waste oil must only be disposed of using a licensed premises or waste carrier.
