ZONE GUARDIAN approval granted!

It’s been many months in the waiting but we finally have LPCB approval for our ZONE GUARDIAN flow switch testing device!

We unveiled the device, which streamlines the mandatory quarterly testing of sprinkler system water flow detectors, back in November of last year (2016) to much excitement from the industry. Interest and initial enquiries poured in, much to the delight of everyone at SEP and our distribution partners Zeffire Limited. However, approval from the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) was needed in order to fully validate our unit.

After working on design, manufacture and testing for well over a year, Sale Engineering Products and Zeffire are extremely proud and delighted to announce that our ZONE GUARDIAN unit is now LPCB approved.

We have been working very closely with the BRE/LPC for over 12 months; there have been some challenges and delays, but now we are here – the industry has a technically justified and commercially competitive alternative.

The good news is that, from the original prototype to the approved unit, absolutely nothing has changed apart from the paperwork and labelling.

Obviously we were not in a position until very recently to start building up our completed and tested stocks, so please bear with us if you have orders to place – the allocation of existing stocks, and further manufacture, will have to be on a first-come first-served basis. We know it’s also holiday season but – as ever – we will do our utmost to keep our customers happy.”
