We have held ISO9001 certification continuously since 2003 (over 18 years), demonstrating our total commitment to high and consistent quality as well as continuous improvement and a desire to exceed customer expectations. Of course, we’re not perfect, but we do try! We have numerous documented systems, quality records and check sheets all geared towards minimising the risk of customer inconvenience.
One of our “hobby-horses”, whenever there’s a case of product failure, is working hard to understand the root cause of any problem (in the end, this may be a one-off component failure, damage incurred in transit, environmental impact, suboptimal installation/maintenance, or even that we’ve made something incorrectly despite our best efforts and checks), which is always the best way to prevent recurrence. We know it can be frustrating when a client ‘just wants a new one’ but our focus is always on the best long-term solution.
We hope that our customers never have cause to even think about our Quality Management System, but if you do then please be assured that we have your best interests at heart – after all, it’s inconvenient to us as well as you, if something goes wrong… and we take it quite to heart.
Just this month, we have quoted for spares for compressors built in 2007 and even 2005 – so back then, and now, we’re happy that we get it right most of the time… when we do, please tell your colleagues; when we don’t, we’d like to know!
