SEP Prices

It is only after some serious and prolonged consideration that we have taken the difficult decision to increase our prices with effect from 1st September 2021.

Following a bout of supplier increases from late 2020 into early 2021, we had targeted certain amendments to our price list in March; however, despite our hopes that the worst was over, we have suffered from further waves of increases in both material prices and delivery costs, aside from additional costs incurred due to replacing/re-shipping items lost or delayed by carriers.

Over the last six months, we have seen our steel and brass costs increase by as much as 40%, plastics by 25%, fabrication by 10-20%, pipe fittings by 15% – to pick out just a few, and in some cases we have been hit by a 4th increase this year.

We have invested heavily in stocks, design changes and efficiencies to mitigate the impact for as long as possible, but now we can do no more and have little option but to pass on just part of this burden.

Therefore, with effect from 1st September, we will be implementing a general increase of 8%. Some items will be lower, and some will be excluded altogether.
