We are also often asked whether we offer these switches pre-wired for a DIN plug connection – some customers buy them as standard, some buy them when they are replacing old switches and want a like-for-like, some buy them because at certain sites they must be wired up only by an electrician (whereas swapping a pre-wired plug is quick and easy).
This is all good; however, some customers DON’T buy them for two reasons – 1, they are very expensive at around 3x the price of a standard switch; and 2, there is a very long lead time at around 10-12 weeks which is a problem when you have an old failed switch that you need to replace yesterday.
